CarMD Works on All 1996 & Newer Vehicles
CarMD is designed to work on all 1996 and newer vehicles driven in North America, with on-board diagnostic second generation (OBD2) technology. This includes cars, light duty trucks, minivans, hybrid vehicles, and SUVs – foreign and domestic. A light-duty truck is any motor vehicle having a gross vehicle weight rating (curb weight plus payload) of no more than 8,500 pounds (3,855.5 kg).

Provides added comfort and convenience while testing a vehicle with the CarMD® Vehicle Health SystemTM device.
CarMD® OBD2 Extension Cable
CarMD's 22-inch (56 cm) extension cable adds convenience and comfort while testing from your vehicle's front seat. One end connects to your CarMD handheld device, while the other plugs into the vehicle's OBD2 port.
On some vehicles, CarMD may plug in upside down making it difficult to read the screen and its color-coded (green, yellow, red) Vehicle Health MonitorTM LEDs. It reduces the need to rely on the tool's audible beeps to confirm a good connection.
