Shipping Information

Thank you for your interest in CarMD. Below is our shipping information as of June 24, 2010. This document supersedes all other written and published shipping policies.

Q: What countries does CarMD.com ship to?
A: Products can be shipped to the USA’s 50 States & US Territories only. The CarMD® Vehicle Health System was designed to work with vehicles that are manufactured for exclusive distribution within the continental United States (this includes imported and domestic vehicles). These vehicles are required by United States law to be OBD 2 compliant – the CarMD tool will not work without this government mandated technology. Vehicles distributed outside of the US may not comply with this requirement. In addition, CarMD’s fix and labor rate information is gathered from working ASE certified technicians in the United States only. For this reason we are not able to sell/ship the CarMD unit to other International countries at this time.

Q: What shipping methods do you offer?
A: U.S. orders with a street address can ship Standard Ground or Express 2-Day as requested on your order.

Q: What are your shipping charges?
A: Standard Ground shipping charges from CarMD.com are currently at the rate of $14.95 per item shipped. Additional items ordered are calculated at the time of order review, before your order is placed. NOTE: Items shipped to Hawaii, Alaska and US Territories will incur an additional charge based on total weight.

STANDARD GROUND DELIVERY
You can expect delivery of your CarMD unit within 7 - 14 business days of your order. Usually orders received by 7 a.m. Pacific Time will be shipped same business day (except weekends and holidays).

CarMD.com reserves the right to request additional identification. If this is needed, we will contact you by e-mail or telephone. Your order will be processed as soon as we receive the requested information by e-mail or fax.

EXPRESS 2-DAY DELIVERY
CarMD.com also offers Express 2-day delivery at a rate of $24.95. See chart below for delivery time frames. Additional items ordered are calculated at the time of order review, before your order is placed.

Q: How long will it take to get my order?
A: We work to ship your order quickly. Order processing and Standard Ground shipping to a U.S. street address is 7 - 14 business days. You will be given the estimated delivery time of your shipment with your package tracking information.

Q: How can I check the status of my order?
A: It is important to provide us a valid and current email address when placing your order.  You can check the status of your order through the shipping confirmation email you received. Simply click on the tracking link posted on your email. You can also track your order by calling us toll-free at 1.888.MyCarMD (888-692.2763) Monday-Saturday 6am-6pm Pacific Time.

Q: How do I cancel my order?
A: We are sometimes able to cancel orders by the next business morning if contacted before 10:00 A.M. Pacific Time by calling 1.888.692.2763.  Our customer care agents are available Monday-Saturday 6am-6pm Pacific Time.  Please be aware that we cannot cancel orders already in process.

Q: What if the item is not available?
A: We do our best to keep CarMD in stock, however sometimes demand for it depletes inventory. You can check item availability online at www.CarMD.com or by calling 1.888.MyCarMD (888-692-2763).

Q: Will I be charged for Sales Tax?
A: All purchases from CarMD.com Corp., are subject to a state sales tax in California (currently 8.75%), or wherever sales tax is applicable.

Q: What type of payments does CarMD accept?
A: CarMD.com Corp. accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express payments. Sorry, but we do not accept C.O.D. or personal checks. Credit cards will be charged immediately upon processing of the order.

Q: I'm buying it as a gift; can I ship my order to someone else?
A: Yes, simply provide us a "Ship To" address during checkout.
